That golden day
That golden light and shadow,
That first wedding night
Then that millions of scribbled sorrow.
That, that sudden amnesia
And today when the memories receded
Arises at the rain-forest of terra-incognita.
Then wish I could scream and say
Oh dear, oh dear… forever.
But I get no response
From this suburban foliage.
Where the kites glide only in the sky
With the sudden intriguing whim of Fibonacci!
