আমরা হলেম মানুষ জাতি
পশুর চেয়েও বেড়ে,
শিশুকালেই অবোধ থাকি
হইলে পরে ধেড়ে-
ধনের প্রীতি কাব্য গীতি
বিষয় আসয় পণ,
আমরা হলেম পশুর বেড়ে
হিংস্র জনগণ।
তোমরা যতই গাওনা গীতি
প্রীতির কথা কহো
ধার ধারি নে ওসব মোরা
আমরা করি দ্রোহ।
দ্রোহের মোহে দাঙ্গা ফ্যাসাদ
সেই পথেতেই চলি
ভুলছো কেনেই কবির কলম
যুগটা এখন কলি।
