Endeavoring to realize
Our short spell of mortal life,
With umpteen wishes, mostly eluding us
And compelling us to cry ! !
With so many things, left to be done
But ultimately being left undone,
This life itself is so cruel
But still has to be carried on.
We live this life with blistering pains,
Sufferings and sorrows,
Still we all are dreaming
For some better tomorrows.
There is no solution to it,
Yet, we are to agree with them,
This is the life that we lead,
Being in the fire on a burning oven ! !
Though this life blossoms as usual
But very sparingly it flourishes with joy,
And nobody knows how and when
This will take a ‘U' turn and move towards the end.
This is the life that we lead,
Being so unknown till that ends ! !
