প্রভাতে উঠি আজি
তব স্মরনে উচ্ছ্বসিত মম হৃদয়খানি।
পূর্ণবিকশিত সহস্র শতদলে, প্রস্ফুটিত;
আত্ম বিলুপ্ত,হয়েছি পূর্ণসম।
হরি একাকীত্ব;
ডুবে যাই প্রেম-সাগরে,প্রশান্তির অতল গহনে,
অনুরাগের পরশে আজি ঢেউ খেলে,
চতুর্দিক সুগন্ধ সুবাসিত;
পুলকিত অলি ছোটে বহিঃমুখ মধু আহরণে,
তব স্মরণে আজি, লুটি মমত্ব,
তোমাতে খুঁজি আমারই অস্তিত্ব,
অনুভবি মম চিহ্ন তোমা মাঝারে,
চিত্ত হরষিত———।

Remembering Thee

Early in the morning,
Remembering Thee dances my heart like the peacock,
Fully blossom like the thousand lotus.
Forgetting selflness becomes oneness in thee.
Conquering loneliness, sinking deep into the peaceful ocean, in the eternal bliss.
Scented everywhere,
Excited honeybee cometh out in search of elixir.
Surrendering in thee, lost all my vanity.
I look for my existence in thee,
Sensing my presence there, cometh eternal delightfulness for me.
(Not considering writings in childhood, this is the first poem after a gap of nearly twenty years)
