সেই আমিটা, আমিত্বের থেকে -
অনেক দূরে বাস করে।
মাঝেমাঝে আঁকে,
আর ভেসে ভেসে বেরায়-
শহরতলিতে!
অজস্র ভিরের মধ্যে থেকে,
তাকে চেনা যায়।
কখন রাতের চন্দ্রমল্লিকা হয়ে ফোটে,
অথবা কাশফুল হয়ে শহরতলির ভিড়ে-
জানান দেয় মন-শরতের আশ্চর্য আগমনী!
