শুধু আমৃত্যু লড়াই,
সারাটা বেলা বৃথা পণ্ডশ্রম
কিসের এতো বড়াই!
আঁকড়ে ধরে অবুঝ মন।
ক্ষণিকের তুচ্ছ জীবন,
হাসি কান্নার যাত্রা পালায়
যুধিষ্ঠির আর দুর্যোধন।
দধিচির হাড়ে অস্ত্র নির্মাণ
যুদ্ধ করে পালোয়ান,
ঠান্ডা ঘরে আয়েশ করে
মতলব আঁটে শয়তান।
তবুও মানুষ ঊষার আলোয়
নতুন স্বপ্ন দেখে,
সবুজ প্রাণে প্রেমের আলোয়
অতীত দুঃখ ঢাকে।
