চাটুকারের কাণ্ডজ্ঞান হয়েছে অবমুক্ত,
মোসাহেবদের লজ্জা শরম অবলুপ্ত,
স্তাবকদের মর্য্যাদা হয়েছে পথচ্যুত,
খোশামোদকারির আত্নসম্মান নির্বাসিত,
কৈতবদের সম্ভ্রম হয়েছে নির্বাপিত,
পদ্মার ইলিশ হয়ে গেছে মোহিত।
চাটুকার বলে, স্থপতি তুমি বিশ্বব্যাপী পরিবর্তনের মূল
মোসাহেব বলে, প্রজ্ঞায় ভাসে পদ্মা মেঘনা যমুনার কূল
স্তাবক বলে, নেতৃত্বে উপচে পড়ছে অথৈ সাগরে ক্ষমতার শূল,
খোশামোদ বলে, ব-দ্বীপ পরিকল্পনা ব্যাতিক্রমি সাফল্যের মুকুল,
কৈতব বলে, বোঝা যায় বুদ্ধিমন্ত কার্য্যক্রম শাখা প্রশাখার স্কুল,
স্থপতি তুমি পদ্মার সীমা অতিক্রান্ত; সিন্ধু-থেমস-সিন নদির দোল।
সাফল্যের রহস্য জানতে চায়, চাটুকারের মেষ-টা
সম্মান মাপার যন্ত্র চায়, বলে ঐ মোসাহেবের বেশ-টা
কে কতটুকু পেলো ধরা চাই, বল্যে মোসাহেবের কেশ-টা
স্তাবকের জালায়, রসাতলে গেলো দেশ-টা
বিদ্যা, শিক্ষা কোন কাজে আসছে না কৈতবের লেগে গেছে তেষ্টা
কাটছে না তোষামোদির রেশ-টা
অপেক্ষায় জাতি,
কোথায়, কখন, দেখা যাবে স্তুতির বিস্ময়কর উন্নতির শেষটা।।
Flattery
The Art of flattery has been freed,
The shame of the flatterer aborted,
The status of the sycophants derailed,
The self-respect of the eulogizer banished,
The honour of the adulator extinguished,
The Hilsha of the river Padma is overwhelmed.
The flatterer says, "Architect have made a radical change."
The sycophant says, "Wisdom overflows the shores of Padma, Meghna and Jamuna."
Eulogizer Says, "Praise be to you, the power thorn is overflowing in the deep sea under your leadership."
Adulator says, "Delta plan brings exceptional success buds."
Bootlicker says, "It is understood that Intelligent activity branching endlessly."
O'Architect, You have crossed Padma; swinging on the Indus-Thames-Sin river.
The flatterer's sheep wants to know the secret of success.
The sycophant's garments want an instrument to measure respect.
Eulogiser's hairs want to know who received highest shares.
In the net of adulator, the country went to abyss
Knowledge and education is of no use, the Bootlicker is thirsty
The flatters fragrance is unending
The nation is waiting,
Where? when? Can be seen the border of wonderful development of hymns.
