সময়টা চলছে না আর সমান্তরাল,
আবোলতাবোল কথা বলা চলছে নির্ভেজাল,
ভদ্রতা, সৌজন্যতা নির্বাসিত চোখের আড়াল, অন্তরাল;
আবোলতাবোল বকছেনা কে? বন্ধু-স্বজন শুনছে বা কে?
রাজনীতি আজ দ্বীপান্তরে, গণতন্ত্র নামান্তরে,
শিক্ষিতদের বচন শুনে, লজ্জাবতী কালান্তরে;
সময়টা চলছে না আর সরলরেখায়,
আবোলতাবোল কথা বলা চলছে কেমন বক্র রেখায়,
ভদ্রতা আর সৌজন্যতা নিদ্রিত আজ মরুভূমির প্রান্ত সীমায়,
আবোলতাবোল বকছে না কে? অন্ধ-বধির দেখছে বা কে? শুনছে বা কে?
পড়ছে বা কে? লিখছে বা কে?
বিচার-বিবেক হতজ্ঞান, বিদ্যা-বুদ্ধি নিষ্ফলা রে...!!
Nonsense Talks
Time is not running in parallel,
Unadulterated, Nonsense talks, flowing in caravel,
Politeness & courtesy has gone behind the eyes, concealed in exiles;
Who is not talking nonsense?
Friends and relatives anybody listening in sense?
Politics today is deported, democracy for name sake dejected,
Listening to the words of educated, shameful time imported;
Time is not running in straight line,
What a curved line to talk nonsense, sublime,
Politeness and courtesy sleeping fine, on the edge of the desert vine,
Who is not talking nonsense with sign?
Deaf or blind who are listening or viewing fine?
Who are reading? Who are writing in dime?
Judgment & conscience, oblivious, knowledge & intellect are useless rhyme.....
