সাদা কাপড় পরে মিছিলে, সচল শরীর,
অভুক্ত বিদ্যার্থীদের দাবি অমলিন,
শ্লোগান শুধু চায়, ক্ষমতার সমাধি সলিল,
তাই খোলা মাঠে চলে কাফন মিছিল,
শ্বেতকায় হস্তিনী, ধীর লয়ে চলে, ছন্দে নেইকো অমিল,
অভিনব বিক্ষেপে ফাটল খুঁজে রাজনীতি, দুরন্ত পংকিল,
শকুনিরা উড়ে আকাশে, চায় জীবাশ্ম ফসিল,
পেঁচারা রাতের আঁধারে খুঁজে নোংরা দলিল,
খাদ্য, শিক্ষা, বস্ত্র, বাসস্থান চায়না মিছিল,
চায় শুধু কেদারায় বসে থাকা শরীর বিলীন;
মেধার জগতে দীর্ঘ আকাল চলে কপাল মলিন,
সূর্য্য হাসবে কোথায়, জিজ্ঞাসে ঐ শুশুক সুনীল।।
Procession Shrouded
Bodies in procession, white clothes covered,
Fasting students demand unstained,
The slogan just wants, the tomb of power to evade,
Shrouded procession move in the open facade,
The white elephants move in rhythmic parade,
Politics looking for cracks in fancy scattering mandate,
Vultures fly in the sky, wanting for fossil mermaid,
In the darkness, the Owls look for documents archived,
Doesn't want to be fed, educated, clothed or sheltered,
They just want a body, sitting in the chair disappeared,
In the world of talent, a long famine has appeared,
Where the sun will smile, the dolphin ask despaired.
