শ্রীলংকার মানুষ আজ বিক্ষুব্ধ,
মন্ত্রী-এম পিদের পালাবার পথ অবরুদ্ধ;
জ্বলছে মন্ত্রী-এম পিদের বাড়ি,
মিছিলে ঝরছে জীবন সারি সারি,
অর্থ-বিত্ত হারিয়েছে কাড়ি কাড়ি,
পথে প্রান্তরে চলে উন্মত্ত শ্লোগানের বাণী,
"ক্ষমতার মসনদ থেকে সরে যাও স্বৈরাচারী",
পালাবার পথ খুঁজে আজ জনতার প্রতিনিধি দুরাচারী,
ক্ষুব্ধ জনতা আর রক্ষীরা আজ শয়তানের অনুসারী,
পথে প্রান্তরে চলে অবিশ্রান্ত হানাহানি।
এ কি, নিয়তি বিধির! কাল নন্দিত যারা,
আজ নিন্দিত দিশাহারা, নিগৃহীত পথহারা, পলায়নপর দিকহারা;
দূর্নিতি আর স্বৈরাচার আজ খুঁজছে নিরাপত্তার বাড়া,
কোথায় লুকিয়ে আছে অন্ধকার কারা;
দ্রুতই হারাচ্ছে আশ্বাসের সাড়া, কোথায় লুকাবে নিঃশ্বাসের পারা,
ভুমিতে আনত হও, এগিয়ে দাও মার্জনার স্রোতধারা।।
Srilanka overwhelmed
The people of Sri Lanka are outraged,
Escape routes of MP & Ministers are blocked;
Minister-MP's houses are burning,
In the procession, Rows and rows of life are falling;
Losing money & wealth, the state is bankrupt,
On the highway, the words of the crazy slogan erupt;
"Get rid of the corrupt dictator in power",
Satan is looking for a way to escape the hour;
Angry mobs and guards following the path of devil,
On the way there are relentless fighting of the evil.
Alas! What the law of destiny! those who were honoured yesterday,
They are condemned, bemused; persecuted, they are fugitive today ;
Corrupts and dictators are seeking for increased security,
Looking for darkness of prison for indemnity;
Quickly losing the response of reassurance, where to hide the breathing,
Push forward the current of chastity, Bend down to the ground sheathing
