কেড়ে নিল দুটি আত্নার আশা, অধিকার এ মর্তে বাঁচার!
গরুরাও প্রাণী, ওদের শপথ জানেন অন্তর্যামী,
বিমান উড়ন্ত শকট, মানুষের বাহক, দৃষ্টিহীন ঘাতক
কোথায় রাডার? ত্রিসীমানায় নেই কি কোন চিত্রের বাহার?
চালকের দিব্য চোখ কিংবা দুরবিন কি হারিয়েছে ধার।
আশা ছিল জনসেবায় বিলাবে দেহ, মন, প্রাণ,
দুগ্ধ, দধি, মিষ্টান্নের হবে আঞ্জুমান,
গোবর সারের মাথান,
কিছুই মিলেনি, মিলেছে নাড়ান, মূল্যহীন প্রাণ
সহসা জলজ্যান্ত ঘাতক, কেড়ে নিল আত্নার নিশান
করে দিল দুটি প্রাণের সকরুণ অবসান।।
