বিবেক মাস্টার রোল কল করছেন-
প্রাণীশ্রেণীর উপস্থিতির খাতায়।
দলে দলে প্রত্যেক প্রাণী সমস্বরে উপস্থিতির জানান দেয়-
গাধা?
- উপস্থিত স্যার।
বানর?
- উপস্থিত স্যার।
শকুন?
- উপস্থিত স্যার।
হায়েনা?
- উপস্থিত স্যার।
ইত্যাদি ইত্যাদি... সবশেষের রোল কল করলেন-
মানুষ?
-উপস্থিত স্যার।
বিবেক মাস্টার হলেন অবাক-
মানুষের উপস্থিতি কমেছে, অন্যদের বেড়েছে-
অন্যরা তাই বেশি সবাক!
ভাবনায় পড়ে মাস্টার মশাই-
চোখ রাঙিয়ে বললেন-
মানুষের উপস্থিতি কম কেন? জানতে চাই।
তখন কিছু গাধা বললো- আগে আমরা মানুষ ছিলাম!
তখন কিছু বানর বললো- আগে আমরা মানুষ ছিলাম!
তখন কিছু শকুন বললো- আগে আমরামানুষ ছিলাম!
তখন কিছু হায়েনা বললো- আগে আমরামানুষ ছিলাম!
আমাদের হয়েছে এই দশা- পেয়ে পেয়ে বিবেক, বুদ্ধি লোপ!
জনসংখ্যা বাড়লেও তাই কমেছে মানুষের সংখ্যা- আশংকাজনক!
মাস্টার মশাই চিন্তায় ভীষণ, গালে দিয়ে হাত,
ভাবেন বসে, চলে যদি এমন উল্টো বিবর্তন,
ইউনেস্কোর বিলুপ্তপ্রায় প্রাণীর তালিকায়-
মানুষের নাম- না জানি ওঠে কখন!
"আবার তোরা মানুষ হ" এই বলে- বিবেক মাস্টার,
রোলকল সমাপ্ত করেন- পৃথিবীর পাঠশালার।

Then some wolf said - Before we were human!
We have been in this state- by getting conscience and intelligence lost!
Even though the population has increased so the number of human has decreased - alarming!
Conscience Master is worried, hands on cheek,
Sitting down, He think, if such a reverse evolution is go on,
UNESCO will list as extinct animals -
The name of the human - do not know when!
"Be the human again" says - the Conscience Master,
