আপনেরা যে কী কতা কন-
হেরা কত্ত কতা কয়
হারা বছরের জন্যে কত্ত বড়
চোতা বানায়
কোনহানে কত্ত টাহা খরচ অইব,
কোন কোনহান থাইক্কা টাহা আইব;
কত্ত বড় হিসাবের কাম
যেনো তেনো ব্যাপার-স্যাপার নাহি;
হেরা কলের ঠান্ডা বাতাস
ঘরে থাকব না-কি
কামারের পোলায় থাকবো(?)
মিয়ারা খুব বেশি বোজেন,
খুব বেশি কতা কন!
তয় একখান কতা-
হোনেন মোরা অশিক্ষিত
ছোড খাডো মানুষ চাষা-ভূষা,
কামার-কুমার, জোলা-জাইল্লা;
মোরা জিডিপি-টিডিপি
এই সব বুজি-টুজি না;
মোরা সোজা মানুষ
সোজা হিসাব বুজি-
মোডা চাউলের ভাত
পান্তা আর গরম
একটা পাইলেই মোগো
প্যাট বাঁচে;
আপনেরা হেই দিকে একটু খেয়াল দিয়েন!

What a nonsense talking you (public) are!
Member of parliament speaks much,
They make big budget of financial year
Find out sources of money
That’s a hard job
Shall not they live in AC room
You think there live son of Blacksmith(?)
Public try to understand very much
And also talking much!
Yet we have to say one thing
Listen, we are not educated
We are poor Cultivator, Blacksmith, Potter
Weaver and fisherman;
We do not understand GDP-TDP;
WE are poor native
We understand simple thing
Fatty-rice whether it is hot
Or cold in water
One of them is enough for us
you (government) should take care of that!
