কবিতা লিখে ধন না পাওয়া গেলেও সুখ পাওয়া যায় অনেক। বিশেষ করে কিছু সাফল্য তাতে আসলে। আমার লেখা বাংলা কবিতা,"মৃত্যু যেদিন আসিবে দ্বারে" ইংরেজিতে অনুবাদ করেছিলাম আমি এবং সেটি অনুবাদ কবিতা হিসাবে আসরে মূল কবিতার সঙ্গে প্রকাশ করেছিলাম। ইংরেজি লেখাটি ব্রিটিশ কবিতা ফোরামেও প্রকাশিত হয়েছিল। আনন্দের কথা এইটাই যে এখন সেখানে ফেমাস আর উদাহরণ মানবিক কবিতার লিষ্টে সেটি দেখানো হয়। আমি সাধারনত তেমন উৎফুল্ল হই না তবে সে লিষ্টে আমার লেখা কবিতাটি দেখে ভালো লাগছে। কয়েকটি কবিতার পর আমার লেখাটি ছিল। এখানে লিখবার সময় সেটি কাট করে সামনে এনেছি সুবিধার কারণে।
