সেদিন বাবু
কেমন জাদু;
চলছে ধরা
মেতে।
কুকুর খেল
রাবড়ি মিঠাই;
র'লাম আঁখ
পেতে।
চাইতে গেলাম
একটু তার ই;
ম্যাডাম দিল
লাথ;
আমরা কুকুর
তার চেয়ে নীচ;
চাইতে নারি
ভাত।
ভাত না দেও
ভ্রান্ত কেন;
পথেই দাদা
চলো;
আসতে যেতে
পদাঘাতেই
মোদের পায়ে
দলো।
আমরা জানি
তোমরা কেউ;
জানি আমার
বাপ।
জন্ম দিল
মামুন আমায়
তোমার ধরা
পাপ।

চলে যায় চাঁদ রবি; কীবা কবি
দিনান্তে ক্ষণ গুনে; যোগ ভাগ নিরবধি,
সততার জ্বাল
বুনে।
কী বা তাই রোদনেতে অশ্রুর বারি মেতে
সোনা রবি দেয় হামা, প্রত্যহ
প্রত্যুষে।
যাহা কিছু বেদনাই ঢেলে প্রাণ অন্তর
রাতে কেঁদে কী বা লাভ, রজনীর
প্রান্তর!
জেনো ধরা নিরবধি গেয়ে গেছে গান তার
গলে মালা দেই তারে, অনুপ্রভা
মণিহার।

Weaving honesty and dedication
the sun or the moon or the poet
die to gone.
Why to flood with tears
they will come soon, after the hush
they will come to glitter
there.
You can get nothing in cry
just believe that the end of the night
the end of the grief
thy.
The songs has being sung since long
the inspiration; one should pay
Garlands. Genuflect to
lend.

পকেটেতে ধন ভরো
জুদি চাও মান অতি
গুণ্ডামি খুন
করো।
নরুনের মাথা শান
অতি তার শক্তি
জেনে রাখ সমাজেতে
করে তারে
ভক্তি।
