এই খানে কবি ও কবিতার পাতায়-
লেখা হয় হাজারও কবিতা বাংলা ভাষায়,
উদাস,অদৃত, সৌখিন,ও বিদ্রোহী শত কবি
প্রতিদিন এঁকে যান মনের মাধুরীতে আকাঁ ছবি।
রাতদিন ভাবনার অতল গভীরে-
ডুবে থাকেন কবিগণ দিয়ে মন যে,
লেখনির মাফ কাঠি নেই মোর জানা,
তবু কেন মাঝে মাঝে দেন তারা হানা।
বলি শোন ওহে কবি দিয়ে তব মন,
কবি যে আমরা হেথায় শত হাজার জন।
কার মনে কি যে ব্যাথা কেহ নাহি জানি,
লেখা লেখির ভাব ভাযা কেমনে তা মানি।
ভুল যদি হয় মোর করিও সবে ক্ষমা,
আধুনিক বা সনাতন, বাংলা শুধু জানা।

Here in the pages of poets and poems-
Thousands of poems were written in Bengali,
Hundreds of poets are bored, indifferent, amateur, and rebellious
Draw pictures in the sweetness of the mind every day.
In the abyss of night and day-
The poets are drowning in the mind that,
I don't know how to write,
Yet why do they sometimes attack.
Listen to me, O poet, then mind,
Poets that we are hundreds of thousands of people.
I don't know who thinks that pain,
How to accept the idea of writing.
I'm sorry if I'm wrong,
Modern or traditional, just know Bengali.
