আপনের চেয়ে অতিআপন যে জন,
খুজে ফিরে তারে সর্বদা মন,
পদ ধ্বনি তার বাজে মোর কানে
কত যে আপন সে এভূবন জানে।
তৃষ্ণাক্ত হৃদয় আকাশে ভেসে যায়
জল রাশির ন্যায় যেন সে,
ফিরে এসে পিপাসা মেটাবে যে মোর
কান্না জড়িত কন্ঠে অবশেষে।
তার স্নেহ মমতায় হৃদয় জুরিয়ে যায়
বাহু ড়োরে করে আলিঙ্গন,
অসান্ত দেহ যেন মোর, পিয়ার স্বানিধ্য
শান্ত নিথর হয়ে পরে ।
প্রিতম প্রিয়জন সবার চায়তে আপন
ধরনীর বুকে সারাক্ষণ,
বিরহে তাহার হৃদয়ে যে আমার
সর্বদা চলেরে রক্ত ক্ষরন।
তার বিরহে ব্যাথায় ভয় সর্বদায়
উল্মাদনায় উঠি মেতে,
মনে হয় যেন, নিজের অজান্তে আমি
ছুটে যায় সু-দুর কোন প্রান্তে।

Embrace with arms outstretched,
Infinite body is like a peacock
After calming down.
Dear friends, everyone wants you
All the time in the chest,
Separation is in his heart that is mine
There is always bleeding.
Fear is always in the pain of his separation
Waking up in a trance,
It seems that I am unaware of myself
Runs to a far-flung corner.
