ভজনালয়ে থাকলেই সদা প্রার্থনারত
হবে না খোদা বা ঈশ্বরপ্রাপ্তি সম্ভব;
কিংবা প্রচার আর লোক দেখানোর তরে
বিলিয়ে দিলে বিত্ত-বৈভব।
নির্জনে সেবিলে স্বজন, রক্তের জন,
প্রতিবেশী আর ভূখা-পীড়িত যত;
পাবে স্রষ্টার করুণা, সৃষ্টির তৃপ্ত-হৃদ,
প্রার্থনা তব হবে গৃহীত!

Staying busy in praying in the chapels
getting neither God nor godliness is possible;
Or publicly and for publicity only
giving wealth and prosperity.
if serve in solitude relatives that blood related,
neighbours and hungry-needy people;
Will get the mercy of God, the contented heart of creation,
Prayers will be accepted then!
