বিশ্বাস রেখো সুদক্ষিণা
একদিন স্বপ্ন আসবে আমাদের ঘরে-
আসবে বিপ্লব
সাম্যের জন্য ।
যে বিপ্লব ভাসিয়ে দেবে সকল অনাচার।।
ধর্মের নামে অধার্মিকরা আমাদের বুকের ভেতর পাষাণের মতো চাপিয়ে দিতে চেয়েছিলো ১৯৭১ সালে ,
আমরা কি তখন ভীরু হয়ে গিয়ে পরাধীনতা মেনে নিয়েছিলাম?
না।
আমরা বীরের জাতি
হাজার বছরের অত্যাচার এখনো শরীরে কাঁটার বিদ্দমান --
সংগ্রামী চেতনা, অসাম্প্রদায়িকতা ,রবীন্দ্রনাথ- নজরুল- জীবনানন্দ, আমরা তাঁদের সন্তান ।
আমাদের রক্তে তাঁরা প্রবাহিত হন প্রতিমুহূর্ত, শিরায়-উপশিরায়।
সুদক্ষিণা এই বাংলাদেশ বঙ্গবন্ধু'র ,
এই বাংলাদেশ ত্রিশ লক্ষ শহিদের,
এই বাংলাদেশ দুলক্ষ মায়ের বোনের সম্ভ্রমের বিনিমেয় পাওয়া ,
আমরাই তাঁদের উত্তরাধিকার।
বিপ্লব আসছে
আসছে বিপ্লব
তুমি কেন ভয় পাও সুদক্ষিণা।
বিপ্লবকে আসতেই হবে।।
আমরা যে বিপ্লবের জন্য অপেক্ষায় আছি ।।

This Bangladesh is home to three million martyrs,
This is the exchange of honor of the sister of the daughter of Bangladesh,
We are their legacy.
