কোনো একদিন যে সব নক্ষত্র
আকাশের গায়ে আলো জ্বেলেছিলো -
হাজার হাজার কোটি বছর ধরে
উত্তাপ তরঙ্গে বেঁধেছিলো গ্রহদের ঘর -
তারা আজ মৃত।
ঘরে ফেরা সব আলো বুকে নিয়ে কেউ কেউ কৃষ্ণগহ্বর।
কোনো একদিন যে সব সংরাগ
প্রত্যাশী আকাশে পাখা মেলেছিলো -
অসংখ্য জোনাকির মতো
অন্ধকারে ফুটিয়েছিলো আলোর বাসর -
তারা আজ অনৃত।
ঝরে যাওয়া সব স্মৃতি বুকে নিয়ে কেউ কেউ তৃষ্ণা সাগর।
কোনো একদিন যে সব গোপন স্বপ্ন
বিহানে গোধূলির সুর বেঁধেছিলো -
ঝিরি ঝিরি সুখের চাদরে
ফাল্গুনে বুনেছিল রুপোলি নদীর চর -
তারা আজ বিস্মৃত।
মুছে যাওয়া সব রঙ বুকে নিয়ে কেউ কেউ নিষ্ঠ চিত্রকর।
ঘরে ফেরা সব আলো বুকে নিয়ে কেউ কেউ কৃষ্ণগহ্বর।

Once upon a time, all those stars
that adorned the sky with their radiant light -
For billions and billions of years,
wove their homes in the waves of warmth-
..........are now dead.
Some ..... absorbed all the home bound lights and turned blackholes.
Once upon a time, all those melodies of love
that spread their wings in the sky -
Like countless fireflies,
blossomed in the darkness of the sky's radiance -
..........are now faded.
Some ..... carried all the forgotten memories and turned into an ocean of thirst.
Once upon a time, all those secret dreams
that weaved tunes of dusk in the morning -
Drip by drip, on the joyous blanket,
sowed the island seeds on the silvery river in Spring -
..........are now forgotten.
Some ..... carried all the colors in their heart and turned devoted artists.
