I’m on a desert road,
walking under scorching sun ;
To give me company -there is none.
Wind is blowing with whistling speed,
carrying fire and sand - paying no heed.
I’m on a desert road,
On my shoulder- bundles of load.
don’t know where does lead this road!

My heart is absolutely dry,
unable to breathe or cry.
I’m on a desert road,
Don’t know where does lead this road!

My journey continues ,looking for a oasis,
which lies somewhere beyond my crisis.
It’s not the time to cry,
let me give another try ;
road ahead is hot and dry.
even then I’ll give a try.
Must reach the oasis,
which lies across the hill of crisis.
I’m on a desert road,
Don’t know where it goes!
