সিংহাসনের ওই লড়াই
চলছে অবিরত;
জগৎজুড়ে দেখি আমরা
সংগ্রাম শত শত।

মরছে মানুষ ঝরছে রক্ত
তবু চুপটি করে বসে;;
পশুশক্তি মানুষের মাঝে
ধরে আছে হাল কষে।

কেউ ধর্ম দিয়ে বিভেদ টানে
কেউ ব্যক্তি স্বার্থে খুশি;
ওই অর্থ সম্পদের টানাটানি
পশুত্বের প্রভাব বেশি।

সংগ্রামের এই জীবনটাতে
সুখের পরে দুখ
কাঠফাটা রোদের পরে
আসবেই আসবে সুখ।

ওই প্রকৃতির নিয়ম এটা
ভুল তো হবার নয়;
ধৈর্য ধরে অপেক্ষা করলে
হবেই সুখের জয়।

Battle of Life

The battle for thrones goes on and on,
Endless wars from dusk to dawn;
Across the world, in every land,
We see the struggle, harsh and grand.

Blood is spilled, and people fall,
Yet silence grips us, one and all.
The beast within, with iron reins,
Still steers mankind through brutal chains.

Some divide with faith and lies,
Some chase gain where greed complies;
The mad pursuit of gold and pride—
Where human hearts let beasts reside.

In this life of strife and flame,
Joy and sorrow play their game.
Scorching sun may burn the day,
But bliss will surely find its way.

It is the rule that nature shows,
This truth, unshaken, always grows;
Hold to patience, calm and still—
And grief shall break before your will.
