একদিন সময় হারাবে গতি,
দুরন্ত নদী, সাগরে জানাবে প্রণতি;
নিঃশ্বাসে আসবে সুস্থির বিরতি,
ক্রুদ্ধ মরু ঝড়, ক্লান্তিতে জানাবে মিনতি।
দিগন্তে সমর্পিত হবে সমগ্র কৃতি,
কল্পনায় এসে ধরা দেবে স্থায়ী যতি,
শক্তি নিঃশেষিত হবে, ধরা দেবে পরম স্থিতি;
হৃদয়ের স্পন্দনে এসে ধরা দেবে ত্রুটি।
সেদিন নিঃশব্দে উপস্থিত হবে আরতি,
ক্ষমতা হারাবে হস্ত, আসবে দুর্দম পরিণতি;
অবকাশে, দুয়ারে এসে দাঁড়াবে নিয়তি,
চূড়ান্ত গন্তব্য মৃত্তিকা গহ্বর, এক অনন্য প্রতিশ্রুতি।।
The final destination
One day time will lose speed,
Rough river will bow to the sea weed;
There will be a steady pause in breathing,
Angry desert storm, will be screaming;
There will be no time for dreaming,
Even the consciousness will be deeming.
All our work will be dedicated to the horizon,
A permanent stoppage will befall on imagination;
All the power will be exhausted,
Absolute state will be captured;
The heartbeat will be caught in error,
There will be a trembling of terror.
Conclusion will appear silently on that day,
The strength will be spoiled in the play,
Terrible consequences will display;
Destiny will come standing at the door,
