ভাবি, প্রবাসে সকল সুখ ও স্বপ্ন, উড়ন্ত বিমান,
স্বদেশে অনাচার, অবিচার, দুঃখ, বেদনা অফুরান
অভাব, অনটন, দুর্ভিক্ষ, দুর্নিতি অবিরাম
মিলেনা হিসাবের অংক, জীবনের হিসাব, লাভ ও লোকসান।
ভাবি, অর্থ-বিত্ত-চিত্ত, সর্বসুখ আমার নির্মান,
ধীরে ধীরে বিত্ত এসে ধরা দেয়, সময় হয়ে যায় দিগন্তে নিলাম,
হারায় আত্নীয়-স্বজন, আবাস-প্রবাস, চারিদিকে প্রশস্ত ভঙ্গুর নিবাস,
হারায় সংস্কৃতি, ভাষা ও ধর্ম, নিস্তব্ধতায় নীরবে কাঁদে আমার ইমান।
ধীরে ধীরে, বিত্ত আর চিত্ত সুখ, দেয়না নিদ্রা অফুরান
প্রজন্ম বিকশিত হয়, নব্য সংস্কৃতি আর ভাষা হয় বিনির্মান
বিশ্বাস প্রকম্পিত হয়, যোগাযোগ ব্যাহত হয় সাগরে স্বপ্ন সুখ ধাবমান
চিত্তসুখ প্লাবিত হয়, জগতের সীমাহীনতায় ঠিকানা হারায় ধীমাণ।

Lose culture, language and religion, Our faith weep in silent sound.

Faith shaken, Communication disrupted, dreams and happiness running in the sea unbound
