পুষ্প পল্লবে বিকশিত স্বল্প দৈর্ঘ সময়ের?
কল কাকলিতে পরিপূর্ণ নিলয়ের?
যদি জানা থাকে,
কেন আমরা জন্মেছি?

কি প্রয়োজন এই জীবনের? কেনইবা মরে যেতে হবে?
কেন ছেড়ে যেতে হবে এই প্রকোষ্ঠ নিলয়ের?
আমরা কি সেই উদ্দেশ্য সফল করি?
নাকি আমরা জন্ম নিই অকারণে
বেঁচে থাকি অকারণে?
মরে যাবো সেটাও অকারণে?
