আকাংখায় অংকন করেন, সত্যের সাথে অসত্যের অনুরঞ্জন;
সততায় সন্ধান করেন, ন্যায়ের সাথে অন্যায়ের আসঞ্জন,
সুষমায় নকশা করেন, বিধির সাথে বৈধতার অনুবন্ধন।
কবিরা, প্রেম-প্রীতি, স্নেহ-মমতা-ভালবাসার স্থাপক,
অধিকার আর সত্য প্রতিষ্ঠার সঞ্চালক;
কবিরা অধিকার আদায়ের কারিগর,
বিপ্লব, বিদ্রোহের চিত্রকর;
কবিরা মর্ত্যে রচেন স্বর্গের সুখ,
সমাজে বাঁধেন ঐক্যের মুখ;
কবিরা বিজ্ঞানকে দেখান পথের দিশা,
বিশ্বকে দেখান, স্বপ্নের রথে চড়ে বাস্তবে বেঁচে থাকার আরিশা।

Poets build in imagination,
Bridge between the real and the unreal;
In the realm of dreams,
Draw connection between future and the present;
In the domain of feeling,
Arranges Blend between nature with the unnatural;
In the ground of aspiration,
Draw disagreement between truth and the untruth;
In the ocean of honesty,
Seek differentiation between morality with the immorality,
Designed by nobility,
Bring cohesion between validity with the rules.
Poets, the founders of love, affection & compassion,
Claimants of rights and builders of truth;
Poets are the makers of authority,
Painters of revolution, uprising & rebellion;
Poets compose happiness of heaven on earth,
The face of unity bound in society;
Poets show direction to science,
Show the world, how to ride the chariot of dreams and live in reality.
