সৌরজগতে তাকাও দেখো উষ্ণ চলমান ধরা
আরও অন্য সব গ্রহ উপগ্রহ ছুটছে অবিরত ৷
প্রত্যেকের আছে নিজস্ব জন্ম স্হান ও উৎসধারা
মহাকাশে আছে তারা নুড়ি পাথরের মত ৷
কিন্তু তারা সবে আবদ্ধ অনন্য মাধ্যাকর্ষণ নিয়মে,
তাই এক কঠিন ঐক্যে তারা বিশ্বাস সদা করে ৷
তারা নিজ অক্ষে ঘোরে সতত—তাই আঁধার নামে,
আমাদের পৃথিবীও আলাদা নয় ওই নিয়ম নিগড়ে ৷
আমরা ধরার শ্রেষ্ঠ জীব বাস করি তাঁর ‘পরে—
দ্বেষ জাগে মোদের মনে দেখি যবে সুখে অন্যরে ৷
উত্থান-পতন,আনন্দ-কান্না জীবনে চলার পথে
অনুভবে আমাদের হৃদয় তারপর বসে মৃত্যুরথে ৷
আমরা মানি না কোনো একতা এই ধরার ‘পরে
এবং কোনোদিন ভাবিনা এ নিয়ে মোদের অন্তরে ৷

No Unity on The Earth--আঁধার বারিবালা
Within the solar family the warm earth,
And other planets and the moon do race.
Each has its own place,origin and birth
And each looks like a pebble upon the space.
But,the unique rule of gravitation they obey all
Thus a solid unity they always do maintain.
They spin about on their axes and the dark does fall
And ours’ earth’s not divorced from that rule-chain.
We,the elegant beings,live on the earth
And get envious when we see one in the mirth.
The ups and downs,the joy and the cry
We have in our hearts and then we all die.
We, the man,follow no unity on this earth
And never ponder over that within the deep heart.
