চিঠিতে তোমাকে লিখেছি ভালোবাসি!
আর তো কিছুই লিখিনি তারবেশী!
আমার যেমন তোমার প্রতি, রয়েছে হৃদয়ে টান!
তোমার তেমনি অধিকার আছে, করতে প্রত্যাখ্যান।
এখানেই তো মিটমাট!
তবে কেন বন্ধ হবে যোগাযোগ পত্রপাঠ?

ভালোবাসার সোনার পাত্র খালি থাকে না কারো,
তবুও সকলে বলে ভালোবাসা চাই আরো!
এক পৃথিবীর ভালোবাসায় মগ্ন রবি ও চাঁদ,
এক হৃদয়ে অধিক প্রেম থাকলে কী অপরাধ??

What is the crime if there is more than one love in one heart?
