বাংলা আমার মা,
মার কোলে রই পরম সুখে আমার ঠিকানা
শস্য শ্যামল কনক উজার ধন আর ধানে ভরা
মা যে পরম কান্তি তাহার অতীব মনোহরা।
সৃষ্টি সৃজন তার ঐ কূজন পদ্মা যমুনা
মেঘনা তার ঐ বারির ধারায় ধন্য আমার মা।
তার ওই কোলে স্মৃতির দোলে পিতার পিতা সেতো
কনক তাহার ব্যাবসা চালের চলতো অবিরত।
ভঙ্গ হলো মা-এর সে ভূম ইঙ্গ তার ওই ছলে
কাঁটার মালায় সাজলো মুকুট এ দেশ এলো চলে।
আজও শিরায় রক্ত আমার বঙ্গ সে দেশ তার
মা গো তোমার অবোধ শিশু আমায় দিও দ্বার।

Bengal is my mom.
I live in the lap of my mom with absolute happiness
she is my address too.
My mom is rich in grains and paddy
her luster is so glorious and she is so beautiful.
Padma and Jamuna is blessed to flow in lap on my mom
my mom is also blessed with Meghna and along with its stream.
I swayed my memory my Grandpa in the lap of my mom
with a flourish business of rice he had done.
When the land was broken in the trick of the British
the crown of thorns came down to the country and they
had to fled away in run.
Even today I can feel in my blood and veins the Bengal,
that is my land,
