প্রস্থর হয়, নিশ্চল রয়,
মগ্ন কেবল কাব্য ধারায়,
সে ধারায় জ্যোৎসনাও বুঝি অসহায়,
চন্দ্রের প্রতিবিম্ব তার খুঁত খুঁজে পায়।
প্রস্থর তবু নিশ্চল রহে,
চন্দ্রের অসহায়তায় হাসে কাঁদে,
আর মিলিয়ে দেয় কাব্য ধারায়।
