শত কাঁদিলেও ফিরিবে না আর
বাড়িবে দুখের রাতি,

হইবে না আর সাথী।
তোমার দুঃখ দেখিলে কি তার
আত্মা হইবে সুখি?
কেন তবে তুমি মিছে অভিমানে
নিজেরে করিছো দুখি?
তাহার জন্য দোয়া কর শুধু
শান্তিতে যেন রয়,
তোমার সুখেতে সুখি হবে সে যে
অন্য কিছুতে নয়।
ক্ষমা করো মোরে ভুল করে যদি
ব্যথা কভু দিয়ে থাকি,
সুখে থেকো তুমি এই শুধু চাই
